Episode Notes: "Achilles"
Aug. 4th, 2007 06:39 pmOkay, I'm finding myself bizarrely reluctant to watch this episode and I've been trying to figure out why. Because I've been looking forward to this episode ever since I saw the screencaps of Ezra in a tablecloth, right, and that was while I was still watching season 1.
My reasons, such are they are, are typical Saraidiocy neurosis. One thing that's making me weird is that I don't want anything to harsh my squee. I've watched series where it was love love love all the time, until something changed and I didn't love so much any more and I don't want that to happen here. So if I don't watch these last five episodes I can assume that they're all as wonderful as the ones I've seen and don't have to risk being disappointed.
The other thing is only slightly less stupid, and that's that I'm on the last disc now. Only a few more episodes then it's all gone.
Yes I do realize those are sort of contradictory concerns.
Anyway, several people have *assured* me that I'll *love* Achilles, so here we go.
After-watching notes: Okay, I did love that episode. I mean it was sniffly and sad but also heartwarming and just wonderful. And Chris and Vin were together in almost every scene, which is *never* bad. And Ezra was wearing his gunbelt over a tablecloth and that's definitely not a bad thing either.
Heaps and loads of screencaps here, like on average two for every minute of the episode, so if you have trouble getting them to download let me know. I might have a solution for you.
spikedluv has a *fantastic* collection of quotes from Achilles over at her LJ. She got some *fantastic* moments! So definitely go check them out!
(Notes on watching Achilles (with really an awful lot of screencaps) over at my LJ)
