Now I have a question aout the mood theme. I've been trying to create one of the past hour but whenever I click on the Save button, all the boxes revert to blank! I've tried copying the url and then writing the names, and copying the entire link, but neither technique works. I'm a plus user, so I should be able to create a mood theme. Sorry if this is not the place to ask, but I'm stumped. What's going on???

I just checked that link, unfortunately, I'm not a paid user. I should be able to do it with my type of account, for some baffling reason it just doesn't want to work. I've created the theme, I just can't seem to upload the pictures from photobucket. ?!?! I have copied and pasted every single link but still... nothing! This is so frustrating!!! I'm not a paid user either, I just have the free account, and I can still create mood themes like that link explains.

But wait, you're trying to upload the pictures from photobucket? Maybe that's your problem, because you're not actually suppose to upload the pictures to LJ I don't think. You just need tell LJ where the images are hosted. That's why using the Admin control panel is easier. If you just take someone's existing .txt file, and use a search and replace to change the URL and mood theme number, it's a lot faster than manual entering each one.

Yeah, that's what I did later on, I copied the url from photobucket and replaced the code in the .txt file I copied from that page. I must be doing something wrong, though, since LJ says my mood theme is there, I just can't see the pictures. I'll work on it some more. Thanks!

Yes, it's Ezra - who else? :grin: I made sure to credit the creator of the theme, and the people who made those instructions; give credit where it's due is my motto (well, after "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger").

By the way, I checked, and he was a history teacher. I should have remembered that, because I was talking to someone before about how he actually reminded me of a history teacher I had in high school.
