Thanks for posting these. I knew of several but a couple are new to me.

However, I am in a quandry. According to his profile, the poster of Ezra & Buck - Busy Being Fabulous is 15 and in Germany (of course, who really knows). However, the images are a direct copy of Firefox's It Was, which is archived on Blackraptor. I know because I play it often.

I checked YouTube's copyright policy, and you can only report a violation if you hold the copyright. Obviously, I don't. Strictly speaking, neither does Firefox, although she chose the images and put them together in a specific order. The music used in each vid is different. The content isn't innappropriate, so I can't flag the vid.

Any ideas? Am I making too much of this? Shall I just let it go? I am just po'd that Firefox's beautiful vid has been ripped off.

I don't think I've ever seen the It Was video, do you have a link for it? I can't find it on her site.

I think I would contact Firefox, if you can, and also the other vidder, and let her know your concerns, and that she should at least ask or give credit for using the clips. I've had people use clips from other videos I have done, and it can be annoying, but like you said, no one really owns the copyright. You just have to hope that people will at least give credit, or remove the vid if that's what they want.

It's on Blackraptor Adult. I don't know if I am supposed to post the link. If you don't have access, you can email the Blackraptor mods and they will send you the link. I just looked it up under the author.

I may try to email Firefox and let her pursue it if she wants.

Well, sorta, yeah. There isn't anything in the images themselves, though you do see Ez in his tablecloth and Buck in the bath. The song talks about love, though, and a relationship is implied.

Man in the Moon is by the same person who uploaded Busy Being Fabulous and it's stolen too. The vid is identical with Outlaw Blues (http://www.blackraptor.net/m7fic-27/video4/outlaw.htm) by Helen Adams & Karen Fedderly, just with added scenes at the end because the song in Man in the Moon is longer.

I love Firefox's "It was" too and it's exactly the same vid. And it really is a shame that it has been ripped off like this. That goes for the vid from Helen Adams & Karen Fedderly as well.

There is this new community called "Don't steal video" where they investigate fanvid plagiarism.
