So - I'm watching season one again (research - gosh it's hard) and as always after I rewatch the pilot, I have - questions. So, in the pilot, Vin is the one who recognizes the aftermath of the canon assault on the village. He's also aware, evidenced in the second attack, of the logistics of aiming a canon. So - how does Vin know this? I've watched both seasons and I don't have any recollection of Vin mentioning anything about serving during the war, or working with canons - anybody know? Do we actually have evidence from the show that he worked with the army as a tracker?
