Newbie with Prezzies

polgara-5.livejournal.comUmmm, hi! *waves shyly* I'm not exactly new. I've been watching the goup for some time. I'm usually too busy to really get a chance to participate, but I've enjoyed reading everybody's fics, speculations, discussions, ideas, etc about the boys. :D I've been slowly getting my friends hooked on the show as well. I'm currently patiently waiting on my season 2 discs to arrive from Amazon....
About a week or so ago, I was introducing a friend of mine to one of my favorite singers - Kasey Chambers. After listening to the cd, she swore that the song Pony screamed a Mag7 vid. However, I don't know how to pull the video off of my dvds and onto my comp. Luckily, thanks to sara_merry and sassyinkpen, I ended up with some clips to use. (thank you guys so much for having the poll and for uploading some awesome clips, I know I thanked you earlier, but I wanted to make sure I thanked you again) I then nervously sat down and made my first fanvid. Actually, I made two. The second one is the same as the first, but I made some changes to the clips to make it look like an old movie. I liked both of them and figured I'd let everyone decide which they liked best. The video centers around Ezra, Chris, and Vin (my three favs) and has definite slash tones to it.

Also a while back I posted my first Mag7 fic. I'm mostly a Buffy writer, and usually only crossover stories at that. So the fic is definitely a Buffy cross, but if you're not familiar with Buffy you should be ok. It really doesn't delve too much into the Buffyverse. While I'm definitely a stronger Buffy writer, I would love to hear what everyone hear thinks of how I did with the boys. For those of you who do enjoy the fic, I'm currently working on the sequel that features more heavily on the boys.

Ummm, that's all for now. I'm afraid I have to go and do that work thing now. *pouts*
