Episode Notes: "Vendetta"
Jun. 23rd, 2007 09:23 pmAside from some ominous comments from
farad about how dark this episode is and some rather more heartening comments from
sallymn and, I think,
spikedluv about how good it is, I know nothing of this episode.
Nothing at all.
So on with the show...
After-watching notes: OMG that was...that was....
Well the final shootout scene was just *amazing*, the way it was shot and edited and the whole thing. Hank Connolly...just leaves me speechless.
Chris's vow to never forget, when he's kneeling in the aftermath of what never forgetting gets someone (i.e. several dead bodies and a lot of bloodshed) I'm having a little trouble coming to terms with.
But it was an excellent episode. And Chris being so angry about the idea that Hank got his vengeance was awesome.
Basically, I'm not sure how I felt about it. Part of me is sitting in the corner whimpering and part of me is just in *awe* and part of me wants to write a million stories (but throw away the one I'm working on). Right now I'm mostly in the corner whimpering, but I'm sure discussion will help with that.
spikedluv caught some really amazing dialogue from this episode, including most of the wonderfulness that was Josiah and Ma Nichols, in her Quotes from Vendetta over at her LJ. Go check them out!
