Thoughts on Seven Men, One Destiny

quietcontrary  and I had a short conversation about what should be done with 7men1destiny , but had to interrupted because my students wanted to have their class early.  She expressed some concern over the changes detracting something from the other comms.  I thought her concerns were valid, so I sat down and tried to put my thought to paper (or electrons, in this case).  While I was writing, I thought it might be a good idea to post this at mag7fans , so that the fandom can express their thoughts too.
